Understanding the Problem
Traditional fantasy sports apps require heavy roster management (drafting and tracking individual players), which can feel overwhelming for casual fans who just want to follow their favorite college football teams without the complexity of player-level stats and trades.
Engineering the Solution
Delivered a simplified team-based fantasy sports experience where users draft whole college football teams instead of managing individual player rosters, complete with private leagues, in-app chat, leaderboards, a token/entry-based economy for weekly and season-long games, and a fully redesigned home, scores, and draft-room experience through continuous version updates.
Driving Business Impact
Built a growing fantasy sports product with an active release cadence (major UI/UX overhauls, gamification via medals/XP/levels, and multiplayer modes across companion games like Stacks on Stacks), monetized through season/weekly entries and a token-based in-app purchase system.
